About the Book

Conflict of Emotions tells the powerful story of Janice Blunt, a woman whose devotion to love demands a heartbreaking price. To the outside world, Janice and her husband Christopher appear to have everything - three children, a warm home, and a marriage built on deep affection. Janice even sacrifices her dream of higher education to build a life with him. But as the years pass, subtle shifts in Chris's behavior grow into undeniable patterns of deception. Determined to preserve the sanctity of marriage, Janice smooths over every conflict, refusing to see the truth: Chris is a chronic liar and adulterer who exploits her unwavering trust. When the evidence becomes impossible to ignore, Janice faces a life-altering decision that threatens her emotional and physical well-being. Her journey toward truth - and the dignity with which she confronts it - offers an inspiring testament to courage, self-worth, and the painful choice between honoring vows and reclaiming personal happiness.

Geraldine McCall

Geraldine McCall is a proud Florida native, born in Pompano Beach and now residing in Fort Lauderdale. After a long and dedicated career with the Florida Department of Transportation - where she served as a System Administrator for MACS and taught computer software classes - Geraldine embraced retirement with the same energy she brought to her professional life. A devoted servant-leader in her church, she is a Deaconess, an active member of the Sacred Heart Ministry, and the lead teacher for the Senior Ladies Church School class. Her commitment to community extends beyond the church walls: she is a lifetime member of the NAACP, an associate member of the Florida A&M University Alumni Association, and an engaged leader within Church Women United of Florida, where she chairs Ecumenical Celebrations and edits the statewide newsletter. Geraldine enjoys gardening, traveling, and learning line dancing. She is the mother of three, grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of eight, and the author of seven books. She writes to let other women know they are not alone, and hopes her work gives readers the courage to make a positive decision.
